Sign-up & Membership

• My card was declined when trying to signup, why is this?

  There are a number of reasons why your signup may have been declined, we have listed these below to help you work out the reason why you cannot signup.

  • You may have entered the wrong expiration date for your card
  • You may have entered the wrong CVV2 value for your card
  • The address you entered when signing up may not match the address your credit card is linked to
  • You may not have enough funds available on your card for the transfer
  • Your card may be expired or cancelled
  • Your card may be over the daily transaction count or dollar amount
  • You may be trying to use a card that has been reported stolen
  • You may have tried to submit your card details too many times in the last 24 hours
  • Your card may be in the blacklist database for attempted refunds and/or chargeback disputes
  • You may live a in country that is blocked by our credit card processors
  
  

• Is joining Glossy Girls secure?

  We pride ourselves in having one of the most safe, secure and confidential signup processes on the internet. By using the https, a URI scheme which allows additional encryption/authentication layer between HTTP and TCP we can ensure that all information you enter when signing up is protected from hackers and other malicious users. All of this information will stay confidential and we will never sell it on, keeping your information safe is our main concern.

• What company name will appear on my statement?

  We make sure that our members do not recieve any information which others may find about their membership, this includes billing. Instead of 'Glossy Girls' appearing on your statement, charges will discreetly appear as CCBILL.com on your statement, ensuring your privacy.

• How can I cancel my membership?

  We'd love to see you stay - if you have any issues with the site, suggestions for improvements or other requests, please feel free to contact us.

Logging In

• Why doesn't my username and/or password work?

  There could be a variety of reasons causing your username and/or password not to work properly. We have listed the most probable reasons for this below.

  • Your username and password are CaSe SeNsITIvE and must be entered with the exact capital and lowercase letters received in your sign up email.
  • Some types of security software, such as Norton Internet Security, could be a reason why your password isn't working. Try disabling the security software to obtain access.
  • Be sure to turn off any Parental Control software and/or Parental Controls in your browser if you have them enabled.
  
  

• I've lost/don't know my password, help!

  You can retrieve your password from our biller CCBill's support system. You can also contact them for support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year using the details available on their site.

• I have other problems relating to my username and password

  These can be resolved using our processor CCBill's support system. You can also contact them for support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year using the details available on their site.

Using the site

• Do I need broadband to use your site?

  No, but we strongly recommend it. We provide individual photos for all of our movies that are easier on bandwidth than the high quality movie files, and also smaller MP4 video files

• Can I download your movies?

  Yes, in fact we very much recommend downloading our movies so that you can watch them again and again, even when you are offline. The different formats we offer allow you to get a file that suits your computer type and internet connection speed.

• How do I download your movies?

  Downloading the movies to your computer is very quick and easy. If you navigate around the site to the page containing the download links for a specific video, you can simply right click on either the 'MPEG-1' option, the 'WMV' option, the 'iPod' option or the slice option and then choose 'Save Target As' from the drop down menu that will appear (on Mac computers, you simply have to hold the 'Control' key, click on the one you would like to download and then choose 'Save Target As'. We recommend that you save the video to a place on your hard drive that is easy to find so that you will not have any trouble locating it in the future. Due to quality of some of our videos, it may take some time to download the best versions, but we assure you that they are very much worth it.

• What formats are your movies in?

  The videos available from the site are encoded in the MPEG-1 format, they are usually around 250mb large, we also split them into smaller parts to make downloading them easier for those members who do not have broadband internet. MPEG-1 is known to play on almost all platforms of computers, this includes systems that run Linux, Windows and Macs. Along with MPEG-1, all videos are offered in the WMV (Windows Media Video) format, which offers the whole video in one high quality download, these will usually only run on Windows PCs, although some Macs will also play them. Finally, all of our videos have been encoded to play on the Apple iPod, which means that you can watch Glossy Girls content anywhere you go. These videos run in the MPEG-4 format and are small in size which makes them easy to download and put on to your iPod.

• Can I download your pictures?

  Much like our videos, we encourage users to download our picture galleries in order to keep them on your PC and be able to view them anytime you want. You can do this by either right clicking on an individual picture you have opened in one of our photoset galleries and clicking 'Save Image As'. We also offer full photosets in ZIP files which are easy to download and contain all of the pictures in the set, to download these simply right click on them and choose 'Save Target As'.

• What formats are your pictures in?

  The pictures we take for the site are encoded in the JPEG format, which all internet browsers are compatible with. We also offer entire sets of our images in easy to download ZIP files. These can be read by most computers, although on some older machines you may need a piece of software to open these kinds of files, which can be obtained for free from many places (notable examples include Winzip and WinRAR).

• What program should I use to view your movies?

  We recommend using the video playing utilities that came installed on your PC when you first got it, our videos should work in these. If for some reason you are missing any of these, then software such as Quicktime and Windows Media Player can be downloaded and will run our videos.

• Do you rotate content on your site?

  No, every weekly update to the site expands the archive available to all of our members, and we don't remove older content. So as your membership continues, you get access to more and more content! We just can't see why it should be any other way.

• Do you have download limits on your site?

  No, we have no limits on what members can download with their membership. However, you should avoid using Download Managers/Accelerators with extremely high settings, as these may be blocked by our security system.
